Folks, people ask me why I'm permanently committed to my job as customer service rep at craigslist.
Also asked: why I'm not interesting in selling the company.
The deal is that my personal mission, my twist on public service, means that I gotta stay firmly part of the grassroots, the virtual street.
My permanent personal commitment to customer service helps make that happen.
Days ago, I realized that I'm not interested in selling because too much money tends to sever one's connection to the grassroots.
Money can change you, and I resist that kind of thing.
(... and please indulge me, here's a really important story on craigslist.)
Money doesn't change you, they only manifest what's already there ...

Yours isnt commitment to service. Your customer service sucks, i have had someone list my phone number under "adult services" and have waited four days for anyone to answer the help, legal and abuse craigslist inbox.
No one answered, i called customer service desk and they told me to email.
NO ONE HAS ANSWERED and i have had over 100 calls of people harassing me.
Tell me what kind of customer service you provide.
Not only you are part of human traffic, you dont protect people's privacy and dont have a way to protect people from scam like this.

This was the best Monday morning inspiration I could read, Craig - I applaud and appreciate your commitment to service.
