Need help understanding the new Facebook stuff

Okay, I'm doing a lot of reading about the social graph, the Like button, and so on, still having a hard time getting it. I do feel this stuff is really important, new ways for people to help each other out.

I am so relieved that someone like you has the same problem with Facebook! I just Googled "Facebook tutorial" with the usual promising results.
no wonder! many people have lots of problems with Facebook, Twitter and other social media. maybe the reason is the amount of services and innovations they provide, so that people just physically have no opportunity to catch up with everything( anyway, tutorials are always necessary. it is really hard to find a good one. but that is already another problem;)
