wehaveweneed.org — getting help for Haiti and elsewhere?

The folks at crisiscommons.org and Crisis Camp are doing remarkable work, and the latest is wehaveweneed.org.
If people in a crisis area, like Haiti, need something, and you have it, it's a way to connect, really impressive work. It's also a good way people are using the Internet for mutual benefit.
Surprised that no one in the press has provided a ranking of charities (in terms of their effeciency)for aid to Haiti. One of the most efficient charities in the world is Catholic Relief Services (they use the already established infrastructure of the Catholic Church)….yet, I see few press outlets promoting them. (Haiti is 80% Catholic)

I have noticed that of all types of insurance, health insurance is the most dubious because of the discord between the insurance policy company's duty to remain afloat and the buyer's need to have insurance coverage. Insurance companies' revenue on well being plans are extremely low, thus some providers struggle to profit. Thanks for the thoughts you share through this web site.
