Contemplating the GetSatisfaction company/customer pact

Yesterday at the White House Forum on Modernizing Gov't, we heard about the social contract GetSatisfaction suggests between companies and customers.

Lots to contemplate, like:

Be human. Use a conversational voice…

Cultivate a dialog with customers…

You can also check out the pact wiki.

Richard Karpinski says:

GetSatisfaction provide forum access with a bad user interface. Any popular topic generated hundreds of responses with no way to sort or summarize or extract data. This made popular topics useless and buried the gems in mound of trivia. I call their service GetFrustration. Even /. would be better though an argumentation system like IBIS or Compendium or a wiki would allow topics to be rationally explored.
