More "21st century statecraft"

Hey, the US State Department is really serious about trying to reach out more to everyone across the world, using Internet tech.
They're running something called ExchangesConnect, an international social network that
promotes mutual understanding among members by connecting people through their own user-generated
content like forums, blogs, photos, and videos:
Enter this year's ExchangesConnect Video Contest, "Change Your Climate, Change Our World," for a chance to win an international exchange program!
ExchangesConnect,
managed by the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs in the U.S.
Department of State, is an international social network that promotes
mutual understanding by highlighting cultures, commonalities, and
exchange program experiences. People from all over the world, ages 14 and older, are invited to submit their videos to ExchangesConnect at http://connect.state.gov from November 17, 2009 through January 12, 2010.

That's a WOW. Thanks for the heads up.
I hope it isn't too far fetched to believe that this effort will do some good in promoting universal acceptance.
