Okay, Monty Python out, DCI Gene Hunt in

In the UK, on a panel and involved in other events.
Not surprisingly, my material is aging. References to Monty Python
material appeals to a decreasing, and aging, audience, even the dead
parrot stuff.
However, references to Detective Gene Hunt, from the BBC series Life on Mars and Ashes to Ashes, they work.
I need a writer.

what can we say Craig – you area always cutting edge!
Hey, Craig,
It sounds like you're tuning into your audience. You're in the U.K., so you used all U.K. characters; some worked, some didn't.
If you want a writer to work with, I'd quite love to do so when you get back to San Francisco. If you want a specifically humor writer, why don't you ask Robin Williams when you get back to San Francisco? His material would wow any audience.
