My first telenovela: the final webisode of "La Pasion de la Decision"

Hey, you might recall the telenovela/public service announcement from VotoLatino.org, where I star along with Rosario Dawson. ("Cameo" means "star," right?)

Well, the popular telenovela now concludes:

In an effort to pull all stops in advance of election day, *Voto Latino*, the leading non-partisan Latino youth voter engagement group, will release the latest installment of their hit web-only PSA campaign which stars Rosario Dawson as Carmen and Wilmer Valderrrama (also co-director) as Rodrigo—two lovers about to be wed by a priest, played by Perez Hilton. "La Boda" marks the last episode to release before the November 4th election.

Conceived by *Voto Latino* as a parody of a "telenovéla," a traditional soap opera format familiar to Latino households, "La Pasión de la Decisión" launched earlier this year to kick-start the organization's voter registration efforts. It has received close to 100 million impressions, helping Voto Latino register nearly 30,000 young Latinos since January 2008 in key battleground states, through the Voto Latino's web registration form. By Election Day, they are on track to double their initial 2008 voter registration goals and tout web and mobile outreach as effective and influential.

"It's the Latino community's answer to 'The Great Schlep'," said *Rosario Dawson*, co-founder of the organization. "We have taken your grandmother's telenovéla, put it online, and made it relevant across cultures and across generations to help encourage conversations among Latino families."

Here's my starring segment:
