I can sympathize with the toughness of cold-calling for nerds. It's the same thing for me with canvassing. After the first couple of contacts, though, it gets easier.

UPDATE: I've informed this person that this has nothing to do with us, and have requested details so we can pursue this.
Hello. I am writing to you because I WAS RIPPED OFF BY CRAIG'S LIST ad to obtain space to advertise from Denver.
I'm no dummy but I sure did get taken by your $1.99 deal which I was never able to use and now I find myself being billed for $129.90 and another $39.00 in the month of October for some unknown reason. Your billing rep told me it had something to do with like signing up for a gym membership and that the $1.99 was just a "free trial" price.
I am a senior citizen who was duped to say the least. I think your organization, if actually reputable, would credit my credit card which you erroneously charged me for NOTHING. I NEVER used Craig's list to advertise anything as I could not figure out how use what was emailed to me rather than a disk I was promised in your ad on the internet.
I believe your tactics are certainly unethical and I suppose you're making a good deal of money off unsuspecting consumers like myself who thought I was purchasing the ability to advertise some items I wished to sell (like on ebay)for $1.99 and discover I was scammed and instead am being charged for services I couldn't use because I couldn't figure out how I was supposed to advertise and NEVER accessed the site.
I was told I changed the password and therefore I accessed the site. ABSURD.
