Hey, notice to the right of this entry (when first) there's a widget which looks at help being given to Ike survivors via craigslist.

I the spirit of helping neighbors, I'll just write about what I know about: chemistry. I work the American Chemistry Council and we recommended that citizens use a drop of chlorine in their drinking water after the storm because the supply system will be muddied. This technique has been used for 100 years in regular drinking water systems and is the best thing to do after a storm.
