"Taking on the System": new book by Kos

Markos from DailyKos is a real veteran of the movement where ordinary people use the Net to participate in government and clean up Washington.

I recommend his new book Taking on the System, has real info on what all we can do to help restore democracy is the USA. He suggests methods that can work, and what to avoid.

Guys like Kos are what moves me to work harder to do the right thing, why I'm spending next week in Denver.

Can we have a craigslist listing for Inverness in Scotland? We are, after all, the capital of north Scotland!!

I'm impressed that you're going to Denver. I'm a folkie musician and have been recently performing "Chicago" by Graham Nash, about the convention in 1968 - what a different world we have! "We can change the world." Youngsters need to learn what can happen here in the US - do we tell them we won that revolution?!? Go, speak up, be a citizen of a democracy - and thanks for that.
BTW craigslist is incredibly impressive; what a feat you pulled off.
