Multiple language support on craigslist

We tend to do stuff without much announcement, but I figured you might want to know that we implemented multiple language support for craigslist in November. Just Spanish then, but last week we added more languages. Check for yourself:

Hi,
I will give you a Norwegian translation for free. I am desperate to get Craigslist in *Bergen* Norway.
google finds these. i saw an ad on a SW (USA) cl, that had an .es and .en page in google results.
but the lang diff showed only in the cl-generated text of the page. on both the .es and .en pages, the poster's text was in english.
so cl isn't trying to babelfish.. which is likely impossible considering that some of the postings in "native english" resemble babbleish..
Please consider doing a craiglist site for Chinese (Traditional text) in Hong Kong and maybe other international cities like Taiwan and Singapore.
I can see great potential for the property section, craiglist is one of the few sites in H.K that offers free ads for property. Sadly most ads over here are in Chinese.
Having moved back from the States, man, am I suffering here in Russia without your services!
It really is a shame there's no Russian version – but then again I don't see it getting popular here anyway. It's a US site no matter how you spin it, with no local support service or marketing. The sections you have for Moscow and St. Pete are inconsequential.
What we have to deal with here are a collection of semi-useful communities, each with a minuscule fraction of users, serving a limited purpose. I really hope the situation changes somehow.
Sorry for the long rant… Really gets to me.
It's nice that craigslist now supports many languages, but have you ever tried to post in french in Montreal's Rants&Raves section? The place is populated by anti-french nazis who flag anything written in french and who promote hatred against french-canadians as a whole. It's illegal but apparently tolerated by craigslist's moderator(s).
I loved the type ad commenting system very clean and very efficient.
